Protecting the environment for sustainable development in Guatemala, and improving the quality of life for present and future generations, is at the heart of it’s mission.
Since the 1990’s Fundaselva has been striving to protect Guatemala’s wildlife and natural heritage for future generations. The charity board includes experts on international and domestic conservation, wildlife law, business and marketing.

Research and Conservation
Fundaselva works closely with biologists from Universidad del Valle de Guatemala (UVG) and the National Council of Protected Areas (CONAP) to develop and conduct research and conservation projects throughout Guatemala.
